What is Lorazepam?
Lorazepam helps treat anxiety disorders. It is related to the class of drugs called benzodiazepine, which has a calming effect on the brain and nerves (central nervous system). This medication works by amplifying the effects of a natural chemical in the body (GABA).
Lorazepam helps treat insomnia or difficulty sleeping caused by
anxiety or stress in the short term. It also helps treat a severe type of seizure called status epilepticus.
The tablets are available in three strengths: 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg. You can buy Lorazepam online or from a local pharmacy store.
