What is Lorcet?

Lorcet is a combination drug that helps relieve moderate to severe pain. It contains an opioid medicine and may be habit-forming.

Lorcet contains hydrocodone and acetaminophen. You can buy Lorcet online with a prescription.

Important Information

Misuse of opioids may lead to addiction, overdose, or death. Keep Lorcet in a place where others cannot get to it.

Taking opioids while pregnant can result in life-threatening withdrawal symptoms in the baby.

Combining opioids with alcohol or other drugs that cause drowsiness or slow your breathing may lead to fatal side effects or death.

If you have a skin rash that is spreading, blistering, and peeling or skin redness, stop taking Lorcet and contact your doctor right away.

What to know before taking Lorcet?

Do not use Lorcet if you are allergic to acetaminophen or hydrocodone, or if you have:

  • severe asthma or breathing issues

Tell your doctor if you ever had the following conditions:

  • sleep apnea or breathing that stops during sleep, breathing issues
  • liver disease
  • kidney disease
  • a drug or alcohol addiction
  • a head injury or seizures
  • urination problems
  • problems with your thyroid, pancreas, or gallbladder

If you take opioid medication while pregnant, your baby may become dependent on it. This can lead to potentially fatal withdrawal symptoms after the baby is born. Opioid-dependent babies may require medical treatment for several weeks. Before taking any opioid medications, consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding. If you notice your nursing baby is drowsy or breathing slowly, call your doctor.
